Performance-Focused Settings for Competitive Gameplay

If you're a player who values smooth framerates-especially during intense boss fights or POE2 Currency crowded mob encounters-then performance should be your priority. Here’s the optimal configuration for a performance-centric setup:

Render Resolution: 67% (approximately 2560 x 1440)

Upscale Mode: Enabled (DLSS-like)

Dynamic Resolution: Enabled

Lighting: Shadows

Global Illumination: Off

Bloom: Low or Disabled

Max Refresh Rate: 120Hz (if your TV supports it)

Sharpness: Medium

Scene Brightness: Adjust to personal preference

UI Brightness: Medium

Dynamic Culling: Enabled

With these settings, Path of Exile 2 can consistently hit 100–110 FPS on a 120Hz-capable TV. The slight compromise in resolution does not significantly impact visual quality, especially when you’re focused on staying alive during complex fights. Prioritizing lighting set to cheap POE2 Currency Shadows and disabling bloom helps keep GPU load manageable, freeing up resources for higher frame rates.
