Gospel for Monday of the fifth week of Easter
He who accepts my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and I will manifest myself to him.
Judas, not the Iscariot, said to him: -Lord, what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?
Jesus answered him: - If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our WhatsApp Number home with him. He who does not love me, he does not keep my words ; and the word you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. I have spoken to you about all this while I was with you; but the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name, He will teach you everything and will remind you of all the things that I have told you.
It is not a good thing to be deceived or to deceive oneself. Whoever separates the love of the Lord from the fulfillment of his commandments deceives others and deceives himself.
Christ makes things very clear. He who loves him, he keeps his word. Whoever does not keep it, he does not love him. And so that no one could claim ignorance, the Holy Spirit is responsible for remembering what Christ has said.
There are those who are spreading the hoax at this time that we have no sure way of knowing what Christ said. They mock the Lord, ignore the Holy Spirit and lead those who listen to them and continue down the path of perdition.
Let's ignore their machinations. Let us remember what the first of the psalms tells us:
Blessed is the man who does not follow the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor take his seat with impostors, but delights in the Law of the Lord , and meditates night and day on his Law.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, and fully delights in his commandments.
Deliver us, Lord, from all visible or hidden rebellion that prevents us from fulfilling your law and being free to truly love you.
