The office building that housed the headquarters of the Ciudadanos political party in Madrid goes on the rental market for 62,820 euros per month. The building, located on the famous Alcalá street, near the Ventas bridge, consists of 3,141 m2 of surface on five floors. Only a few months have passed since the orange formation, now outside relevant institutions, abandoned this property, which experienced the rise and fall of its leader, Albert Rivera .

With this situation, the party decided not to run in the last general elections on July 23, 2023. The best years of Ciudadanos are far away, with the victory of Inés Arrimadas in Catalonia (although it did not help her to govern) and the entry of Albert Rivera in 2015 on the national scene, with 40 deputies.

With this projection, the party changed its headquarters to this building in Alcalá for which it paid 35,000 euros in rent, plus supply costs. Since then, Ciudadanos has experienced three general elections from this headquarters. The first a few months later (June 2016), and three years later, two new calls very close together, which meant the zenith and in a few months the fall of Ciudadanos and Albert Rivera.
